They met in Toronto but both had a love of the Canadian Rockies, and so they headed west to Alberta’s Silvertip Resort to be married. Lorelei and Chris were joined by 100 family and friends who shared their day. The outdoor ceremony was on an elevated landing overlooking the town of Canmore. Ferns and deep blue hydrangeas lined the ceremony walkway.
The indoor reception area had soaring ceilings of Douglas fir timbers, a floor-to-ceiling Rundle stone fireplace and immense windows with a view of the golf fairways and surrounding mountains. Strewn flower petals and tiger lilies were the table centrepieces. The guests enjoyed the Mountain Wilderness Fusion cuisine, including the West’s traditional beef.
In the autumn, the couple had their honeymoon in Hawaii on the island of Maui.
